Duties
  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring optimal performance of all systems and infrastructure.
  • Manage and support enterprise-wide networks including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and remote access solutions to guarantee reliable connectivity.
  • Lead the administration and maintenance of servers.
  • Oversee database management using Microsoft SQL Server and other database solutions; ensure data integrity, security, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Provide desktop support, technical troubleshooting, and user assistance across various platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and JobBoss.
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures including network security protocols, firewalls, Active Directory management, and information security policies to safeguard organizational data.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships for hardware/software procurement, licensing compliance, and service agreements.
  • Maintain compliance with NIST standards for IT service management; oversee incident management, change management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular system audits; manage backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving software development, network engineering, server management, and infrastructure upgrades with strong leadership and organizational skills.
Skills
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure; proficient in virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure components including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls; expertise in LAN/WAN design and implementation.
  • Proven ability to manage databases using Microsoft SQL Server; skilled in SQL query optimization and database security practices.
  • Deep understanding of Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DHCP), Linux systems administration, IIS web server management, and remote access software.
  • Excellent leadership skills with supervising experience in fast-paced environments; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors, stakeholders, and technical teams; adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear language.
  • Knowledge of business continuity planning strategies; adept at disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime during incidents.
  • Skilled in software development and automation tools such as PowerAutomate and PowerBI. Familiar with automation tasks to increase operational efficiency.
