Position Summary
Weckworth Manufacturing, Inc., a leading industrial textile and government contract manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contract Coordinator to support our growing federal and commercial contracting operations. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of customer contracts, proposal development, contract compliance, and customer communication.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and/or government contracting environments and will play a critical role in ensuring contracts are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable requirements.

Weckworth Manufacturing, Inc., a leading industrial textile and government contract manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Contract Coordinator to support our growing federal and commercial contracting operations. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of customer contracts, proposal development, contract compliance, and customer communication.
The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and/or government contracting environments and will play a critical role in ensuring contracts are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the RFI/RFP process, including timeline development, compliance matrices, and cross-functional collaboration
- Prepare, review, and submit proposals and contract documentation in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a liaison between internal departments (engineering, production, quality, and sales) to ensure accurate contract execution
- Interpret contract requirements, specifications, and technical data packages to ensure feasibility and compliance
- Track contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure on-time performance
- Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and reporting systems
- Monitor contract performance and identify risks, discrepancies, or compliance issues
- Solicit and analyze customer feedback to improve processes and service delivery
- Assist in developing and improving internal contract administration processes and workflows
- Ensure compliance with government contracting requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS preferred)
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in contract administration, program management, or sales support in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience supporting government contracts strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong data management skills
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Job Type
- Full-time, on-site position. No remote or hybrid work.
- Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Friday 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Compensation
- $23-25/per hour, based on experience
